Health is more than medicine

Exercise

(01)

Research drives results It’s no surprise that physical activity is a major contributor to your overall health and fitness level, as well as your cellular health. Our coaches examine your lab results and review your other longevity-promoting behaviors to recommend exercises (including type, frequency, duration, and more) designed to improve your health in measurable ways.

Nutrition

(02)

Nothing influences our health more than what we eat each day. Healthspan coaches help you identify foods that will have a meaningful impact on your health. While diets tend to make generalizations about foods, our nutrition experts use your unique biomarkers and other data points to discover what works for you — not anyone else.

Sleep

(03)

Sleep hygiene is an indicator of, and a catalyst for, important measures of health. Our coaches will help you track and optimize your sleep, accounting for a multitude of contributing factors and focusing on data that’s specific to you.

By testing, treating, re-testing, and optimizing, we drive improvements over the long term and help you understand the “hows” and “whys” of your health.

How It Works

Frequently asked questions

What does a Healthspan coach do?

Healthspan coaches are knowledgeable across all the therapies, supplements, and lab panels we offer. They help you apply your protocol to everyday life, offering support around sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, and consistency. Coaches can also guide you toward additional tools or products that align with your goals. While coaches are highly trained, they are not licensed medical providers and cannot prescribe medications, diagnose conditions, or offer treatment plans. Any changes to your protocol or medications are always reviewed and approved by a licensed physician.

How do I connect with my coach?

You can reach out to our coaching team directly through the patient portal. Whether you want to ask a question, review your protocol, or schedule a check-in, your coach is just a message away and ready to support your progress.

Will I work with one coach or different team members?

Right now, we do not assign individual coaches. You’ll have access to different members of the coaching team depending on your needs. While all of our coaches are trained in the same clinical framework, each brings unique areas of expertise—from metabolic health to movement science to nutrition strategy—so we aim to connect you with the right expert at the right time.

What kinds of things can I ask my coach about?

Coaches can help you interpret lab trends, apply protocol recommendations, build sustainable habits, troubleshoot barriers, and align your lifestyle with your health goals. They are also here to support behavior change, provide accountability, and guide you through any questions that come up along the way.

What qualifications do Healthspan coaches have?

Our coaching team holds a wide range of advanced degrees and certifications. These include backgrounds in nutrition, exercise physiology, public health, psychology, and behavior change science. Many have master's or doctoral-level training, along with certifications in health coaching, functional medicine, and clinical support.

How often should I check in with my coach?

That depends on your preferences and goals. Some people check in regularly to stay on track, while others reach out when they need support, clarification, or have new results. There is no set schedule—coaching is designed to be flexible and personalized to your needs.
